Short version: Ledge can't collect anything, because it can't reach the network.

No data leaves your Mac

Ledge has no account, no analytics, and no network access. The release build is blocked from shipping if the compiled binary so much as links a networking symbol, so the app you download physically cannot phone home. Every file you drag onto the shelf stays on your Mac.

What it stores, locally

The files you've shelved, and your settings, live in ~/Library/Application Support/Ledge/ on your own disk. Delete that folder and everything Ledge held is gone. Nothing is kept anywhere else, because there is nowhere else.

Purchases

Buying a licence happens through our payment processor, which handles your card details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card number. A licence is tied to an email address so we can send you the key.
