The terms for our tools, in plain words.
These terms apply when you visit Everyday Mac Tools, download a trial, or buy one of our software products.
What this site is
Everyday Mac Tools is a house label of Caretopia Network Private Limited. We develop and sell software for macOS through everydaymactools.com and the product websites linked from it.
Buying and using a tool
When you buy a tool, you receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it for personal or internal business purposes on the number of devices shown at checkout. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or use a licence key to give access to people outside the licence allowance.
Prices, billing periods, included devices, trials, and taxes are shown before checkout. One-time licences do not renew. Subscriptions renew for the period selected at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription before its next renewal through the payment provider or by contacting us.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by the merchant of record identified at checkout. Its buyer terms may also apply to payment processing, taxes, invoices, and chargebacks. Our refund policy allows eligible refund requests within seven days of purchase.
Trials and updates
A trial or free tier may be limited by time, features, or usage. We may change or discontinue free access. Paid software includes the updates stated on its product page, but a purchase does not promise every future product, service, or major upgrade.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep our software reliable, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Keep backups of important files and review a tool’s output before relying on it. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss where the law permits that limitation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Accuracy
We try to keep everything true and current. Versions, prices, features, and system requirements change as the apps do. The information shown at checkout controls your purchase if another page is out of date.
Our marks
The Everyday Mac Tools name and mark, and the names and icons of the tools, belong to us. You’re welcome to use them to talk about the tools (the press kit has the files), but not to suggest we made or endorsed something we didn’t. “Mac” and “macOS” are trademarks of Apple Inc., which has nothing to do with us.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
