Hushbox is designed so your private files stay private.

Files and passwords

All encryption, decryption, archiving, and vault operations happen locally on your Mac. Hushbox does not upload your files, file names, folder structure, passwords, hints, or vault contents. We cannot read or recover them.

Network access

The app contacts Dodo Payments when you activate a license and may validate that license later. That request contains the license key, a device name chosen by macOS, and the license instance identifier returned by Dodo. File data is never included.

Payments

Dodo Payments is our merchant of record. When you buy, Dodo processes your email, billing information, payment details, tax, receipt, and license key under its privacy policy. We do not receive your full card number.

Website

This static website sets no cookies and includes no analytics or advertising trackers. Our server keeps ordinary request logs for security and reliability.
