Repair

A corrupt video, a PDF that errors, a Word document that hangs. Manatee rebuilds what it can and tells you exactly how much it got back.

An honest word about repair
Sometimes you get most of it back.
Repair is not magic. A file that has lost data has lost it, and several of Manatee’s engines recover some of a file rather than all of it. So Manatee never reports a repair as a simple yes or no. It tells you what it got: all of it, most of it, or not enough to be useful.
Whatever happens, your original is never modified. Manatee always writes a new copy alongside it, so there is nothing to lose by trying.
