No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for. Manatee works the moment it is installed, and a purchase gives you a licence key, not an account.

No uploads

Every repair, conversion, shrink and clean runs entirely on your Mac. No file, no filename, and no part of a file is ever sent anywhere. The repair engine is bundled inside the app precisely so that nothing has to leave.

No telemetry

Manatee does not collect usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind. We do not know which files you fix, how many, or how often.

The one network call

After you buy, Manatee contacts Dodo Payments once to confirm your licence key and occasionally afterwards to re-confirm it. That request carries the key and a device identifier, and nothing else. Checking for updates fetches a small text file from our site and sends nothing about you.

Your originals

Manatee never modifies a file you give it. It always writes a new copy beside the original. Deleting the original is your decision, made in Finder, not ours.
