A person reads every email.
Write to hey@everydaymactools.com. Say which version of macOS, what kind of file, and what you expected to happen. If you can attach the file, even better; it stays between us.
“Manatee is damaged and can’t be opened”
That message means the download was interrupted or the package was altered on the way. Delete it and download again from this site. Every package we ship is signed with our Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so a clean download opens without a warning.
A repair came back partial
That is Manatee being honest: it recovered what it could and told you how much. Try the Convert mode on the partial copy; a different container sometimes recovers more. If a file matters and came back short, email it to us and we will look at it by hand.
Re-activating on a new Mac
Install Manatee, open it, and choose Enter License Key from the menu bar icon. Paste the key from your receipt email. If you have lost the email, write to us from the address you bought with and we will resend it.
The Finder service is missing
Open System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts → Services, and make sure Fix with Manatee is ticked under Files and Folders. Launching Manatee once after install registers it.
